I just think this would be so special, but I know it's pretty unlikely for this to ever happen, but it would be a neat idea as an event. If an old map is selected, it would definitely have to be worked on to meet the standards of 1.8 at least.Alternatively, it could stay but I have a feeling it wouldn't since adventure maps were never brought back in the first place Limited time, maybe lasting for a year or a couple months.Since adventure maps are resource intensive, maybe only one map (old or maybe original for this) could be used.However, it wasn't many years later when these maps were removed permanently. This is the game mode that made a lot of us older players join Hypixel in the first place.
This might be extremely ambitious so it's probably unlikely, but this would be really special.īack in the day, Hypixel had a game mode where you and about 3-4 other people (matched randomly unless you had a party I believe) could play through Hypixel's old adventure maps, like Herobrine's Mansion, Wrath of the Fallen, etc. I think it would be really cool to a lot of players if Hypixel brought back one of its oldest game modes-Adventure maps. So, I actually saw a post on this forum which was about Hypixel's 10th anniversary, and naturally that got me thinking of ways that it could be celebrated (even though it is a year away).
